Designed specifically for spoolable composite (SC) piping including but not limited to Flexpipe, Flexsteel, and Fiberspar.

The Cyclone series of pigs provide asset owners a means to sweep production fluids and solids downstream while navigating large inside diameter changes without damaging the integrity of the non-metallic core.

Features & Benefits

  • Solid, round nose is designed to centralize the front of the pig into the reduced bore midline or flange end fitting commonly associated with spoolable composite piping
  • Collapsable front cup helps drive the pig through varying ID’s prior to receiving
  • Industry leading three-disc design, while still collapsable for multiple ID changes, operators get more scraping with more sealing and contact points
  • Central post taper helps to prevent “nose diving” from midline fittings and/or solids build up
  • Multiple designs for different brands of spoolable composite piping for ease of operations

Advantages

  • Three-disc design allows operators to purge more production solids with less slippage preventing a reduced bore over time
  • Addition of central post taper leads to less pressure builds, pig damage and blockages often associated with the pig “nose diving”
