Apache’s Conical Cup, steel bodied pigs are designed for a variety of pipeline applications such as batching, condensation removal, purging or light cleaning. Pipeline pigs mounted with conical cups can traverse pipeline anomalies of up to 25% without damage to inline auxiliary equipment. Conical cup pigs are available in 2 to 4 cup configurations and can be adapted to include, brushes, gauge plates and other components.

Filming Pigs 16 – 42″ (406 – 1067 MM)

The unique design of our 16” – 42” Filming pig has a front hollow mandrel with two equalization ports that are to be removed in the middle of the mandrel. This allows the inhibitor to travel to the front hollow mandrel and through the two port holes on either side of the mandrel. The inhibitor is then trapped between the 86 Durometer front conical cup and the back two 72 Durometer discs to leave a film of inhibitor on the pipe wall.

Designed to traverse 1.5D bends.

  • Inhibitor travels to the front hollow mandrel and through the two port holes on either side of the mandrel.

    UM2 CONICAL CUP 3 – 14″ (76 – 356 MM)

The basic two cup series UM pigs are generally used for batching of dissimilar fluids. The UM series is available in three versions. The two cup design of this pig provides a positive seal between fluid interfaces while the three and four cup design is widely used for light cleaning of pipelines or batching/separation operations.
